Aruba Souvenir Dolls

Two souvenir dolls shaped by wire and made of natural materials like nuts and seeds. They are male figures, one carrying a gourd on this back and holding a walking stick (and missing a foot), the other playing flute. Both are marked ‘Aruba’; the doll on the left on his gourd and the flute player is marked on his hat.

Folklore is in the air… uhm… ear!

Postcard

No postcard available. There should be a nice postcard here that matches this doll, to show you how the people living in Aruba are dressed in their traditional costume.

There is nothing suitable in our postcard books at the moment, too bad!

Happy collecting,
