Canada Labrador North West River Innu Teadolls
Matching couple of Innu tea dolls made by Angela Andrew, representing a hunter with wife and baby. Made of facbrics and caribou hide (for the face and moccasins). The Innu people were nomadic hunters and while travelling their children carried these dolls along, filled with a reserve of tea in case regular tea supply ran out. Both dolls have a 'Labrador Crafts' label. Size 34 cm.
