Nigeria Ibadan Yoruba People with Cookingpot

Thorn wood carvings are unique to Nigeria and show scenes of the customs and culture of the Yoruba people. Here we have a woman sitting by a cookingpot while carrying a baby on her back and a man holding a walkingstick and a bowl. The male has remains of a stamp under his stand but it's completely faded and unclear. The female has a stamp underneath her stand that reads:

George and Isaac
EI/449 Labipan.
Ibadan

Sizes around 8 cm & 10 cm.
