Romania Arad Ineu Dolls by Arta Crisana

Two Romanian peasant dolls both dressed in the regional costume of Ineu, a town in the Arad county. The male is holding a farming tool and is marked 'Coop Arta Crisana Oradea, Papusa Taran Ineu'. (Papusa Taran Ineu meaning Doll Peasant Ineu). The female missing her stand was identified and labeled by the present owner NCDC as coming from Ineu. Size around 23 cm without stand.

Arta Crisana was founded in 1968 and is located in Oradea. This company is specialized in producing folk art like regional dolls, traditional costumes and rugs.
