Romania Bihor Beius Dolls by Arta Crisana

Two Romanian peasant dolls both dressed in the regional costume of Beius, a city in the Bihor county. The male is holding a leather bag and the female is holding a jug. 'Romania' is on both stands but labels are missing. They were identified and marked by the present owner NCDC as coming from Bihor and more precisely from Beius later on. Size around 23 cm without stand.

Arta Crisana was founded in 1968 and is located in Oradea. This company is specialized in producing folk art like regional dolls, traditional costumes and rugs.
