Romania Hunedoara Padureni Doll by Arta Crisana

Romanian peasant doll dressed in the regional costume of Padureni, a village in the Hunedoara county. Marked 'Romania' on stand and dated 1975, label is missing but the doll was identified and marked by the present owner NCDC as coming from Padureni (seen a similar doll with paper hangtag 'Romania, Zona Padureni Hunedoara'). Size around 23 cm without stand.

Arta Crisana was founded in 1968 and is located in Oradea. This company is specialized in producing folk art like regional dolls, traditional costumes and rugs.
