Romania Maramures Dolls by Arta Crisana
Two Romanian peasant dolls both dressed in regional costume from the Maramures county. 'Romania' is on both stands. The female was identified and marked by the present owner NCDC as coming from Maramures. The male was marked by a former owner 'Zona Maramures' and dated 1978. Size around 23 cm without stand.
Arta Crisana was founded in 1968 and is located in Oradea. This company is specialized in producing folk art like regional dolls, traditional costumes and rugs.
