Romania Moldavia (Moldova) Dolls by Arta Crisana
Two Romanian peasant dolls both dressed in regional costume of the Moldavia region (Moldova in Romanian language). The male is playing a bucium also called tulnic which is a type of alphorn. Marked 'Romania' on both stands, no labels. These dolls were identified and labeled by the present owner NCDC as coming from Moldova. Size around 23 cm without stand.
