Not a matching pair but going well together; two Sri Lankan dolls representing the Sinhalese people. The male is dressed in a sarong and long-sleeved shirt. The female wears the indian style sari (classic nivi drape). There are two main styles of wearing the sari in Sri Lanka; the indian style (classic nivi drape) and the Kandyan style (Osariya). Both styles are spread all over Sri Lanka and are worn by Sinhalese women. Size 28 & 25 cm. No marks.
