Mexico Jalisco Charros
This is the most well known example of mexican tourist dolls. A matching couple both wearing Charro (cowboy) costume originating from the state of Jalisco but it can be found all over Mexico nowadays. The Charro costume is worn by Mariachis (musical groups), folk dancers and by people on special occasions requiring formal attire, always completed with a large sombrero (hat). Marked 'Mexico' on hats. Size 22 cm.

These dolls are no longer with us and were sold through our shop to a fellow collector in Norway. They will be replaced by a similar couple soon…
