Mexican female doll wearing the Zapotec costume of the Juchitan district. The Zapotec are an indigenous ethnic group mainly living in the state of Oaxaca. She is holding a batea, a wooden painted lacquerware plate. Marked 'Hecho en Mexico' with an eaglehead under the stand. Size 16 cm excl. bonnet.
