This type of doll is made in Toluca in the state of Mexico, in central Mexico. It represents a character of the 'Danza de los Viejitos' (Dance of the old men), a traditional folk dance originally performed by the Purepecha people from the state of Michoacán. He has a sticker 'Hecho en Mexico' with an eaglehead under one foot and 'Michoacan Viejito' in handwriting on the other. Size 28 cm.
