Netherlands Volendam Dolls by Heubach
Matching pair of old dolls with bisque heads and composition bodies, dressed in the traditional costume of Volendam, a former fishing village located in the Noord Holland province of The Netherlands. Eyes open and close and there are tiny upper teeth visible in their mouths. Size 16 cm. Female is marked in the neck 'Heubach Koppelsdorf 250 19/0'. The male's mark is unclear but seems to be the same with the number 250-19.
