Nigeria Ibadan Yoruba People Drinking Palm Wine
Thorn wood carvings are unique to Nigeria and show scenes of the customs and culture of the Yoruba people. Here we have two figures enjoying palm wine served in bottle shaped gourds. The woman carries a baby on her back. Both have a stamp under their stand that reads:
