Nigeria Ibadan Yoruba People Palm Wine Tappers
Thorn wood carvings are unique to Nigeria and show scenes of the customs and culture of the Yoruba people. Here we have two palm wine tappers. The palm sap is collected in bottle shaped gourds. Both dolls have a stamp under their stand that reads:
