Romania Hajduk Doll by Arta Crisana
Romanian Hajduk doll carrying several weapons. A Hajduk is an outlaw, bandit or freedom fighter of the Balkans. Missing a label but dated 1974. Identified by the present owner NCDC as being a Hajduk figure. Size around 23 cm without stand.
Arta Crisana was founded in 1968 and is located in Oradea. This company is specialized in producing folk art like regional dolls, traditional costumes and rugs.
