Cameroon Dolls Family with Baby

Matching pair of dolls made of cloth over a wire frame, wearing colorful wax print clothing from Cameroon. The female is holding a folded piece of fabric in her hand and carries a basket full of fabrics on her head. A little baby is on her back. Along the seem of her dress is the text; ‘London Elegance Wax Printed 9P591’. The male carries a basket on a rope over his shoulder and is holding a rattan stick.

Folklore is in the air… uhm… ear!

Postcard

No postcard available. There should be a nice postcard here that matches these dolls, to show you how the people living in Cameroon are dressed in their traditional costume.

There is nothing suitable in our postcard books at the moment, too bad!

Happy collecting,
