South Africa Dolls Johannesburg

Two South African female dolls of the same type but dressed differently. By the looks of it these dolls are made by P.M.I. in Johannesburg but I don’t want to remove the clothing to search for marks. The doll on the left with the wood branches on her head carries a baby on her back.

Folklore is in the air… uhm… ear!

Postcard

No postcard available. There should be a nice postcard here that matches these dolls, to show you how the people living in South Africa are dressed in their traditional costume.

There is nothing suitable in our postcard books at the moment, too bad!

Happy collecting,
