Argentina Doll Carnavalito Dance

Wooden doll from the north of Argentina, most likely representing a female involved in the Carnavalito dance performance. She is missing her drum and a hat. She came together with two other wooden dolls of the same type (a gaucho and wife) so – although her costume shows similarities with Bolivian clothing – I believe she is from Argentina.

Folklore is in the air… uhm… ear!

Postcard

No postcard available. There should be a nice postcard here that matches this doll, to show you how the people living in Argentina are dressed in their traditional costume.

There is nothing suitable in our postcard books at the moment, too bad!

Happy collecting,
