South Korea Doll Peony Court Dance
Large Korean doll wearing Hanbok, the traditional Korean dress, consisting of a short jacket with long sleeves (Jeogori) and a skirt (Chima). Judging by her elegant pose and the fact that she is holding flowers this doll could be depicting the Gainjeonmokdan dance, a court dance with peonies. Marked ‘Korea’ under it’s stand by a former owner.
Folklore is in the air… uhm… ear!
