Bhutan Dolls Thimphu

Matching couple of Bhutanese dolls from Thimphu. Heads made of painted nuts. Kira is the dress for women and gho is a men’s outfit. Law requires that all Bhutanese people wear national costume in public. The white scarf is worn on formal occasions.
