Cuba National Costume Doll with Basket

Doll marked ‘Cuba’ on her stand, wearing a dress with ruffles. She has a remarkable large round bottom at the back. The outfit shows European and African influences. She carries a basket filled with fruit and/or vegetables. The doll is made of cloth over wire and has two wired legs.

Folklore is in the air… uhm… ear!

Postcard

No postcard available. There should be a nice postcard here that matches this doll, to show you how the people living in Cuba are dressed in their traditional costume.

There is nothing suitable in our postcard books at the moment, too bad!

Happy collecting,
