Finland Doll Munsala

Doll made in Finland by Ateljee Eveko. Wearing the traditional costume of Munsala. Marked ‘Suomi, Munsala, Finland’ on the sides of the stand. Written on the bottom is ‘Ateljee Eveco, Handmade’ and an unclear finnish word (not pictured). Munsala was merged together with two other municipalities into Uusikaarlepyy in 2013. About 90% of the inhabitants speak Swedish there.

Folklore is in the air… uhm… ear!

Postcard

No postcard available. There should be a nice postcard here that matches this doll, to show you how the people living in Finland are dressed in their traditional costume.

There is nothing suitable in our postcard books at the moment, too bad!

Happy collecting,
