Uganda Doll Kampala Charcoal Vendor

Doll as sold through a craft shop on Buganda Road in Kampala, the capital of Uganda. Depicting a steet vendor riding a bicycle on his way to a local market to sell charcoal. In Uganda charcoal is still used a lot for cooking.

Came in original paper bag with label ‘Craft Box, Quality African Arts & Crafts, Permanently low fixed prices (Buganda Road, next to 1000 Cups coffee shop)’.

Folklore is in the air… uhm… ear!
